Refuted to be the biggest shake up in strike laws, the Trade Union Bill was expected to introduce greater restrictions and requirements on trade unions who wished to carry out industrial action, such as strikes. The Bill has recently had its first reading in the House of Commons and will later be subject to debate and scrutiny as it progresses through the stages of becoming law.
