Ben Chaplin

Ben Chaplin FCA, Managing Director, Taxwise Services Limited. Ben has worked in various senior roles within Tax Fee Protection Insurance over the last 15 years joining Taxwise in 2007 and appointed to Managing Director in 2011. Prior to this he worked in the finance sector both within bluechip industry and accounting practice where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PKF.

Ben Chaplin is often asked by the media to discuss accountancy and taxation issues; his quotes have been used in various publications. He also writes regularly for Accounting Practice, the magazine published by the ICPA and Financial Adviser, the leading trade press publication from the Financial Times.

Ben heads up a team of over 60 staff who work with over 3,500 accountancy practices all over the country and is regularly asked to speak at events hosted by Taxwise and Peninsula – as his experiences from working closely with employment consultants help to bridge the gap between the two respective fields.
